  1. We are fortunate to live in an area with access to great museums and the summer is a great time to get out and visit them when you don't have to worry about snow impeding travel.

    1. Very true about snow...and now that almost all the galleries at the Penn Museum are air conditioned we can go with our library's pass. (It was not fun visiting when they only had fans.)

  2. We used to spend so much time in museums! Now that my kids are older (high school) we rarely visit them, except for particular viewing purposes. I guess I'm glad we took advantage of the times we had :)

    1. Most of the time museums don't change too much - so we also like looking forward to the special exhibits.

    We love museums and all the opportunities to learn that are there.
    Must make a point of getting there more often even if it is a bit far. :-)

  4. fascinating!! The Egyptian pieces remind me of when we got to see the King Tut exhibit a number of years ago.

    1. My mom and I saw the King Tut exhibit. I have the to share the DVD with my little ones as they are starting to be interested in Egypt.
