A Mom's Quest to Teach is a regular column covering elements of teaching and learning (with an eye towards homeschooling), parenting, crafting, and all of the discoveries, joys, and daily roller coaster rides that occur while being a mom.
I am very grateful that God listens to us with His eyes open and ears ready to hear our prayers. Even if we are unfaithful, God still helps us when we turn back to Him.
Great scripture reminder. His eyes open and ears ready to hear our prayers. Love how you said that. Thanks for sharing with Sunday Scripture Blessings.
A great reminder, sometimes we tend to think because things are difficult or not going our way that God isn't be loving. We forget that when He keeps things away from us He can actually be doing the best for us--He knows so much more than we do. Is that thing we want a temporary happiness that will lead to sadness and turmoil. I often have to remind myself that love doesn't always mean getting what we want in that moment.
I just read the book of Nehemiah myself. I find his story to be such a great model of godly leadership. I especially like this prayer that he starts off with.
