Water,
Water,
Everywhere...
Sometimes this is a good thing
– water to drink
– water to cook
– water to bathe
– water to play – for swimming
Sometimes this is a bad thing
– when the water is dripping through multiple leaks in our kitchen roof after heavy snowfall
– water seeping into our basement after many days of heavy rain
– water spilled on the living room floor, seeping through to the basement
So much of life is like water: good and bad, hot and cold.
Each day we take the good and the bad – the hot and the cold, the boiling water and the ice – and do the best we can, with a little bit of help from our friends, our family, and our God.
Thank God that Water is Everywhere!

I love this! But I am also sorry that you ended up with water leaking in. Water can be good and bad, but we don't often consider that. Thank you for linking up with us!
ReplyDeleteThank you...joys of being a home owner. (And having the previous home owners put an addition on by themselves - when they were in the house security business.)
DeleteThe good and the bad eh?
ReplyDeleteYeah...at least there is often more good than bad.
DeleteI am not happy with the mini lakes we have all around here. Getting the kids outside is so hard, but the weather is so nice!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter manages to step in every puddle there is around. (We have melting snow so there are lots of puddles.)
DeleteI do prefer water when it's where I want it to be. Hope your house isn't under water and suffering from severe water damage.
ReplyDeleteCeiling in kitchen got fixed - and the roofer found the actual problem this winter. Fixed it for free since it was their mistake. Basement? Unless we dig new drainage it will always have some water when it pours for days on end. Thank you.
